Dear NBA members,

NBA California is planning their first statewide brownfields and sustainable development conference for December 4, 2008 and we are forming a program planning committee. Since you (our members) are experts in the industry, we invite you to be part of the committee.

If you agree to participate, we ask that you commit to biweekly conference calls (sometimes weekly if needed), brainstorm speaker/session ideas, verbally invite speakers you have contact/are friends with, and coordinate with NBA HQ to retrieve necessary materials from your speaker contacts (e.g., bios, presentations, etc.). We also ask that you help us market the event by forwarding materials to your contacts, and sending us any sponsor leads you may have.

We are planning to put on this event annually and want to make it the foremost brownfields and sustainable redevelopment conference in the state.
